Miller served as the managing partner at REC Franklin, a division of Real Estate Equities Corporation (REC).
Under his leadership, REEC acquired or developed over 20 million square feet of real estate across the United States, representing several billion dollars in capitalized value.
Reports indicate that Miller died by suicide in July 2024.
