Chhabu Devkar was murdered due to a long-standing property dispute involving a boundary wall and pipeline with his nephews and their wives.
The arrested individuals were Ramdas Devkar, Rahul Devkar, and Santosh Devkar, along with their wives Kavita Devkar, Manisha Devkar, and Lata Devkar.
Chhabu Devkar's son was also assaulted during the attack but survived.
The police and forest authorities have increased patrolling and launched awareness campaigns to prevent leopard attacks. They have also advised residents to avoid venturing out alone after dark.
The leopard attack occurred in the Bavi-Darewadi area of Ashti tehsil in Beed district, Maharashtra.
