Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Acquires ₹52.3 Crore Luxury Apartment at DLF Camellias
Zomato founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal has purchased a luxury apartment in DLF’s high-end residential project, The Camellias, in Gurugram for ₹52.3 crore, property registration documents showed.
The 10,813-square-foot apartment comes with five parking spaces, according to real estate data platform Zapkey, which accessed the conveyance deed. The transaction was executed on March 17, 2025, with Goyal paying ₹3.66 crore in stamp duty. The purchase was originally made from developer DLF Ltd in 2022.
Located in DLF Phase 5, The Camellias is among India’s most exclusive addresses, offering high-end residences with five-star amenities. The project has consistently attracted billionaire buyers and startup founders in recent years amid rising interest in ultra-luxury housing in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Goyal’s property acquisition follows a string of high-value transactions in The Camellias. In December 2024, Info-X Software CEO Rishi Parti bought a penthouse for ₹190 crore, while Wesbok Lifestyle’s Smiti Agarwal purchased an apartment for ₹95 crore earlier that year.
The apartment adds to Goyal’s growing collection of luxury assets, which includes several high-end cars such as a Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, Aston Martin DB12, and Ferrari Roma.
The deal underscores growing demand for premium real estate among India’s tech entrepreneurs and startup founders, even as residential prices surge in key urban markets.
