Adani Airports has announced a total investment of Rs 10,000 crore for the expansion and modernization of the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow.
The current passenger capacity of the Lucknow Airport is approximately 8 million passengers annually.
After the completion of Terminal 3, Phase 2 in 2026-27, the expected passenger capacity of the Lucknow Airport is 14 million passengers a year.
The 'swing operations' model introduced by Adani Airports allows common facilities to be used for both domestic and international flights based on peak demand, improving operational efficiency and the travel experience for passengers.
