The Motilal Nagar redevelopment project in Mumbai is a large-scale housing redevelopment initiative spanning 142 acres in Goregaon (West). It will rehabilitate 3,372 eligible residential units, 328 commercial units, and 1,600 slum tenements. The project is expected to cost around ₹36,000 crore.
The Adani Group has been appointed as the Construction and Development (C&D) agency for the Motilal Nagar redevelopment project in Mumbai.
Key features include the free rehabilitation of residents in ultra-modern 1,600 sq. ft. apartments, a five-acre central park, and excellent traffic and mobility planning. The project will also include commercial space for non-resident tenants.
The construction of the rehabilitation units for the Motilal Nagar redevelopment project is expected to be completed within seven years.
The Adani Group has enlisted Mecanoo, a renowned architecture firm based in the Netherlands, and Buro Happold, a London-based consultancy firm specialising in infrastructure development, to prepare the master plan for the Motilal Nagar redevelopment project.
