Amitabh Bachchan has bought four properties in Ayodhya, including a 25,000 square feet plot for Rs 40 crore.
The latest property is located near the high-end ‘Sarayu’ real estate project and adds to Bachchan’s strategic real estate portfolio in Ayodhya, a city with significant cultural and spiritual significance.
In Mumbai, Bachchan sold a duplex apartment in Andheri for Rs 83 crore, which he had purchased for Rs 31 crore in 2021. He and his son Abhishek Bachchan also jointly purchased 10 apartments worth Rs 25 crore in 2023.
According to Jaya Bachchan’s election affidavit, the Bachchan family’s total assets were valued at Rs 1,578 crore, including Rs 849.11 crore in movable assets and Rs 729.77 crore in immovable property.
