The lease period for the land is 60 years.
The land is planned to be used for developing essential public infrastructure, including healthcare and educational facilities, welfare and social service centers, and an incubation center for entrepreneurs.
The request for the land allocation was made by the Assam Chief Secretary to the Union Ministry.
