Bollywood Star Tamannaah Bhatia's Lucrative Real Estate Investments in Mumbai
Real Estate Mumbai:Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia has made headlines with her recent real estate investments in Mumbai. According to property registration documents, Bhatia has mortgaged three residential flats in Andheri West for ₹7.84 crore and rented a commercial property in Juhu's affluent area for ₹18 lakh a month.

The commercial property, located in Western Wind on Juhu Tara Road, spans 6065 square feet and has been rented by Nanavati Construction for a period of five years. The rent is scheduled to increase to ₹20.16 lakh in the fourth year and ₹20.96 lakh in the fifth year. The property includes apartments on the ground floor and basement, and the deal required a ₹72 lakh security deposit.

Bhatia's mortgage deal with Indian Bank was registered on June 14, 2024, and ₹4.7 lakh in stamp duty was paid. The three apartments, situated in Lokhandwala Complex in Andheri West, cover an area of 2595 square feet.

Bhatia is not the only Bollywood celebrity to invest in real estate. Other notable names include Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Manoj Bajpayee, among others. Experts attribute the rise to Mumbai's residential real estate capital appreciation and high rental income on commercial assets.

In fact, the Bachchan family has been quite active in the Mumbai real estate market recently. Last month, Amitabh Bachchan bought two opulent flats in Borivali for about ₹7 crore. His son Abhishek Bachchan had already paid ₹15.42 crore for six residential units on the same floor. In the same month, Big B also bought three office buildings in Andheri West for over ₹60 crore.

Tamannaah Bhatia's real estate investments are certainly making waves in the industry. With her lucrative deals, she joins the ranks of other Bollywood celebrities who are capitalizing on Mumbai's real estate market.
