Real Estate Mumbai:The luxury real estate market in Mumbai is witnessing a significant surge in investments from Bollywood celebrities. Recently, Ronit Bose Roy and his wife Neelam Bose Roy have made headlines with their recent property purchase in Mumbai. According to property registration documents, the celebrity couple has acquired a 4,258 sq ft apartment for Rs 18.94 crore in Mumbai's prestigious Versova area.

The transaction, registered on June 10, 2024, included a stamp duty of Rs 1.13 crore and registration fees of Rs 30,000. Situated on a higher floor within the Lodha Versova project by Macrotech Developers, also known as Lodha, their new home comes with the added convenience of four parking spaces. The building is located off Yari Road in Mumbai's Versova district.

This acquisition follows a trend among Bollywood celebrities who have been investing significantly in Mumbai's real estate. Recently, Javed Akhtar purchased a property in the upscale Juhu neighbourhood for Rs 7.76 crore. Aamir Khan also made news in June by investing Rs 9.7 crore in a property within his residential complex, Bella Vista Apartments, located in Pali Hill.

In April, Amitabh Bachchan expanded his property portfolio with the purchase of two apartments in Mumbai's Borivali suburb for Rs 7 crore. Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput Kapoor joined the list by acquiring a luxurious sea-view apartment worth approximately Rs 60 crore at the Oberoi 360 West project in Worli.

Ronit Bose Roy, the actor, started his career in television and starred in popular shows like Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Bandini and more. He then successfully transitioned to films and was last seen in Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar-starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
