Central Railway Adjusts Train Timings at Pune Junction to Boost Punctuality
Pune, 31st May 2025: Central Railway’s Pune Division has announced changes in the arrival and departure timings of select terminating and originating trains at Pune Railway Station, effective from June 2025. The revision aims to improve operational efficiency and ensure better punctuality across key services.
The timing revisions include adjustments for both terminating and originating trains. For terminating trains, the CSMT–Pune Express (Train No. 12127) will see its arrival time at Pune revised from 09:57 hrs to 10:00 hrs, effective from journeys commencing on or after June 1, 2025.
For originating trains, several key services will have their departure times adjusted. The Shirdi (SNSI) – Dadar (DR) Superfast Express (Train No. 22148) will depart from Shirdi at 07:20 hrs instead of 07:25 hrs, starting from journeys commencing on or after June 7, 2025.
The Pune – CSMT Pragati Express (Train No. 12126) will depart from Pune at 07:45 hrs instead of 07:50 hrs, effective from journeys commencing on or after June 1, 2025. The Pune – CSMT Intercity Express (Train No. 12128) will depart from Pune at 17:50 hrs instead of 17:55 hrs, starting from the same date.
Additionally, the Pune – Kanyakumari Express (Train No. 16381) will depart from Pune at 23:45 hrs instead of 23:50 hrs, effective from journeys commencing on or after June 1, 2025.
Passengers are advised to check the revised train timings before commencing their journeys from Pune and other stations. The changes are part of Central Railway’s ongoing efforts to enhance punctuality and streamline train operations at Pune Junction, a critical hub in the railway network.
