Two Mumbai natives, Md Parvej Irani and Altaf Ali Jafferey, have been arrested for snatching a bag of cash from a woman army officer inside a bank in Delhi’s Shahdara. The suspects have a history of multiple cheating cases.

The accused have been identified as Md Parvej Irani and Altaf Ali Jafferey, both natives of Mumbai.
The snatching incident occurred on February 21, inside a bank in Dilshad Garden area of Delhi’s Shahdara.
The accused targeted bank customers by deceiving them into believing they had received fake or torn currency from the cashier, and then discreetly stole cash from them.
Rs 21,500 in stolen cash was recovered from the suspects upon their arrest.
The Delhi Police have issued advisories to all banks to enhance their surveillance systems and implement stricter security protocols. They have also urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
