The event was attended by Special Police Officers (SPOs) from Division 2 โ€” Dnyaneshwar Wagh (Girgaon Division), Suman Chavan (Gamdevi Division), and Renuka Buwa (Pydhonie Division) โ€” along with senior police inspectors, cyber officers, other police personnel, and 40 complainants.

Under Division 2โ€™s jurisdiction, Mumbai Police have been proactive in investigating serious crimes, including theft, dacoity, and burglary. These efforts have led to the swift arrest of offenders and recovery of stolen property. By leveraging technical investigations and the CER Portal, police recovered 150 mobile phones reported stolen or missing from various parts of the country.

During the ceremony, complainants were handed back their mobile phones along with recovered cash, gold, and silver jewellery valued at Rs 55,33,672. With additional case properties, the total value of items returned reached approximately Rs 1.10 crore.
