DLF-Trident Realty Sells 416 Luxury Flats in Mumbai for Rs 2,300 Crore
Real Estate Mumbai:New Delhi: India’s largest real estate firm, DLF Ltd, in partnership with Trident Realty, has achieved a remarkable success by selling all 416 flats in their luxury residential project, 'The Westpark,' in Mumbai. The project, priced at Rs 2,300 crore, was fully sold within a week of its launch, reflecting the high demand for premium real estate in the city.

In a regulatory filing, DLF announced that the entire first phase of 'The Westpark' was sold out in less than a week. The project is being developed by DLF Home Developers Ltd at Andheri West, a prime location in Mumbai. Aakash Ohri, Joint Managing Director and Chief Business Officer of DLF Home Developers Ltd, emphasized the strategic importance of this project. “Our entry into Mumbai represents a significant strategic milestone for DLF. Mumbai has always been a key component of our national growth strategy, and with the launch of The Westpark, we are proud to offer a development that resonates with the aspirations of the city’s discerning residents,” he stated.

The Westpark project is spread over 5 acres and is being developed with an investment of around Rs 900 crore. The first phase of the project was launched with a price range of Rs 42,000 to Rs 47,000 per square foot. The flats, priced between Rs 4 crore to Rs 7.5 crore, attracted a wide range of buyers, including high-net-worth individuals and discerning residents looking for luxury living in a prime location.

DLF's re-entry into the Mumbai market, in partnership with the NCR-based builder Trident Group, was announced in July 2023. The company holds a 51% stake in the special purpose vehicle (SPV) that is developing the project. This strategic move underscores DLF's commitment to expanding its footprint in key metropolitan areas and catering to the growing demand for premium real estate.

The successful sale of The Westpark units not only highlights the robust demand for luxury housing in Mumbai but also reinforces DLF's position as a leading player in the Indian real estate market. The project is expected to set new benchmarks in luxury living and further solidify DLF's brand reputation in the region.
