Ektaa Kapoor and Jeetendra Sell Mumbai Apartment After Rs 855 Crore Land Deal
Real Estate Mumbai:Television and film producer Ektaa Kapoor and her father, veteran Bollywood actor Jeetendra Kapoor, the founders of Balaji Telefilms Limited, have reportedly sold a premium apartment in Mumbai’s Worli for Rs 12.25 crore. This follows their recent sale of a land parcel in Andheri for a whopping Rs 855 crore, according to property documents released on Zapkey.

As per reports, the 2,149 sq ft unit, located in the Omkar 1973 Worli project, was sold at a rate of Rs 57,003 per sq ft (carpet area) and includes two car parking spots. The sale was officially registered on June 8, 2025.

The apartment is situated in Tower A of the Omkar 1973 Worli Co-operative Housing Society Limited. Jeetendra and Ekta Kapoor had originally purchased the property in June 2017 for Rs 11.52 crore, the documents further reveal. Ektaa and her team couldn’t be reached for comments.

One of the biggest real estate transactions in Mumbai this year involved Jeetendra and his family, who have reportedly sold a large land parcel in Andheri for a whopping sum of Rs 855 crore. The buyer, NTT Global Data Centers and Cloud Infrastructure India Pvt. Ltd., formerly known as Netmagic IT Services, purchased the property to enhance its digital infrastructure presence in India.

Documents reviewed by Square Yards indicate that the high-value deal was finalised on May 29, 2025. The land was sold through two Kapoor family-run entities—Pantheon Buildcon Pvt. Ltd. and Tusshar Infra Developers Pvt. Ltd. The deal comprises two adjoining plots, covering a total of approximately 9,664.68 square meters (or about 2.39 acres). Currently, the site hosts the Balaji IT Park, which includes three commercial buildings with a combined built-up area of nearly 4.9 lakh square feet.

According to a Financial Express report from November 2023, Ektaa Kapoor has an estimated net worth of Rs 95 crore (approximately USD 11.3 million). Her monthly earnings are around Rs 2.8 crore, with an annual income of Rs 30 crore. Her wealth has reportedly grown by 25 percent in recent years.

Ektaa serves as the Joint Managing Director and Creative Director of Balaji Telefilms Ltd., a production house that has delivered over 17,000 hours of daily soaps and generates annual revenue of around Rs 422 crore.
