The Global Cities Resilience Index (GCRI) evaluates how well 31 major cities are equipped to withstand and thrive amid global disruptions. It assesses cities across five core dimensions: Institutional Governance, Sustainable Finance, Technology & Innovation, Social & Human Capital, and Global Integration.
The top 5 cities in the Global Cities Resilience Index 2025 are London, Amsterdam, New York, Dubai, and Toronto.
Delhi was placed 28th with a score of 54.6, and Mumbai was placed 23rd with a score of 58.7 in the Global Cities Resilience Index 2025.
The five core dimensions used to assess city resilience in the Global Cities Resilience Index are Institutional Governance, Sustainable Finance, Technology & Innovation, Social & Human Capital, and Global Integration.
