Real Estate News:Gauhar Khan, a well-known actor and model, has recently invested heavily in the real estate market of Mumbai.
She has purchased three apartments in the Versova area, a popular residential micro-market, for a total of ₹10.13 crore.
The properties, located in the Shiv Kutir Co-operative Housing Society Limited, span a total carpet area of 3,497 sq ft.

Out of the three apartments, two measuring 2,393 sq ft were bought jointly by Gauhar Khan and her husband, Zaid Darbar.
These two flats were purchased for ₹7.33 crore.
The third apartment, measuring 1,104 sq ft, was registered solely in Gauhar Khan’s name and cost ₹2.80 crore, as per the property registration documents accessed by SquareYards.

A stamp duty of ₹57.95 lakh and a registration fee of ₹60,000 were paid for the three apartments.
Gauhar Khan also benefited from the Maharashtra government's 1% stamp duty concession, which is offered to women homebuyers purchasing properties solely under their name.

The apartments come with three car parking spaces, adding to their appeal.
The seller of all three apartments is Kishore Patel.
Despite the substantial investment, Gauhar Khan, her husband, and the seller could not be reached for comment.

According to Square Yards' Project Data Intelligence, five transactions with a gross transaction value of ₹14 crore were registered in Shiv Kutir CHS between February 2024 and January 2025.
Currently, the average resale property price in the project stands at ₹25,387 per sq ft.

Versova, located in Mumbai’s western suburbs, is a sought-after residential micro-market.
It offers easy access to key commercial and entertainment hubs, thanks to its well-connected transport infrastructure, including the Metro.
The area is home to several Bollywood stars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, and Shahrukh Khan, who reside in nearby areas like Lokhandwala, Khar, Juhu, and Bandra.

In June 2024, Ronit Bose Roy and his wife Neelam Bose Roy bought a 4,258 sq ft apartment in Versova for ₹18.94 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by IndexTap.com.
This purchase further underscores the area's popularity among high-net-worth individuals.
