Real Estate Mumbai:Mumbai The Bombay High Court has recommended mediation to resolve the ongoing legal dispute between the two sons of property magnate and South Mumbai MLA, M P Lodha—Abhishek and Abhinandan.
The crux of the dispute revolves around the use of the 'Lodha' name for real estate projects, which has led to a trademark infringement and passing off suit filed by Macrotech Developers, promoted by Abhishek Lodha, against his younger brother's company, House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL).

The High Court, headed by Justice Arif Doctor, heard the case on Monday.
Macrotech Developers had filed a lawsuit earlier this month, seeking an urgent interim relief to prevent HoABL from using the 'Lodha' name or any similar trade name.
The court session saw a bevy of senior counsel representing both sides, including Darius Khambata for Macrotech and Ravi Kadam and Aspi Chinoy, along with Venkatesh Dhond, for HoABL.

During the hearing, Justice Doctor emphasized that the dispute had elements of a family conflict.
