The victim was Srikanth Reddy, a 45-year-old real estate businessman from HB Colony in Moulali, Hyderabad.
The main reason for the attack was that Dhanraj, the main suspect, had been fired from his job by Srikanth Reddy for coming to work in an inebriated condition and causing problems.
Dhanraj's accomplice was Daniel, who helped him in the attack by stabbing Srikanth Reddy.
The police rushed to the scene, shifted the body for postmortem, and registered a case under section 103(1) (murder) of the BNS. They also launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
Stricter workplace conflict management, better employee screening, and addressing alcohol-related issues in the workplace can help prevent such incidents in the future.
