Real Estate Mumbai:Mumbai played host to the second leg of the Royal Ranthambore BT Golf’s 2024-25 silver jubilee edition, which was held at the historic Willingdon Sports Club on Friday.
The competition was fierce, with the 0 to 14 handicap category seeing the narrowest margin of victory.
Karan Kamte edged out Navnit Group CEO John Wilcox by a single point, with scores of 41 and 40, respectively, in the Stableford scoring system.

Rohini Chatterjee dominated the Ladies section, finishing with 34 points, while Rajeev Shrivastava claimed the 15 to 24 handicap event with 39 points, just ahead of Gaurav Sahgal of HSBC India, who scored 37 points.

The event was graced by Union minister of state for information technology and cultural affairs, Ashish Shelar, who presented the prizes to the winners.
BCCI senior selection committee chairman Ajit Agarkar, a keen golfer himself, also participated in the event.

The tournament attracted a diverse and high-profile field, including corporate leaders, government officials, and business tycoons.
Besides the main competition, several attractive spot prizes were up for grabs.
Sohel Lalvani won the Radico straightest drive on Hole 1, with his ball stopping just five inches off the line.
Nikhil Bardia claimed the IOCL closest to pin competition on Hole 2, landing his tee shot eight feet from the flag.

Anuj Mohan Singh won the Bandhan Small Cap closest to pin prize on Hole 6, with the ball landing four feet and five inches from the pin.
Karan Mohta's powerful drive of 310 yards on Hole 7 earned him the Bandhan Large Cup for the longest drive.
Vihang Nair took the Bandhan Mid Cap straightest drive prize on Hole 11, with his ball 13 inches off the center line.

Anjali Patel's drive of 270 yards on Hole 17 secured her the Radico longest drive prize, and Pranay Singh's accurate shot on Hole 18, finishing 5 feet and seven inches from the pin, won him the Radico closest to pin competition.

In addition to the main tournament, an increasingly popular putting clinic was held, concluding with a keenly contested putt-off among the participants.

The seven-city silver jubilee season of BT Golf runs until March 2025 and is co-powered by IndianOil XP100.
Bandhan Mutual Fund is the investment partner, Morris Garages the driving partner, Sunteck the real estate partner, and GMDC the associate partner.

BT Golf began in 1996 as a standalone single-city Pro-Am and has since evolved into one of India's most sought-after corporate and celebrity golf events.
The event in Mumbai attracted nearly a hundred golfers, including notable figures such as Amit Sharma of Tata Consulting Engineers, Mihir Doshi of UBS Securities India, Devashish Das of Kotak Investment Advisors, and many more.

The evening concluded with a lively 19th hole celebration, where the participants enjoyed a festive atmosphere after a day of intense competition.
