Raghavendra Hegde is a filmmaker and producer who accused Dhruva Sarja of cheating him by taking money for a film project that was never completed.
Sarja is being charged under Sections 316(2) (Criminal Breach of Trust) and 318(4) (Cheating and dishonest inducement to deliver property) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
The case is currently under investigation by the Amboli police. Dhruva Sarja has been granted interim protection and bail, and the matter is adjourned till August 14, 2025.
