The primary issue addressed in the MahaRERA order is the rectification of structural defects in the Vasant Oasis Jolan Cooperative Housing Society Ltd. building.
MahaRERA directed the developer, Neepa Real Estate Pvt. Ltd., to rectify all structural defects in the building. Other claims, such as those concerning common amenities, were rejected as premature.
Non-compliance with the MahaRERA order could result in serious penal action under Section 63 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA).
