The road reconstruction work will be supervised by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).
The municipal body has set a five-month deadline for the completion of all related civic work, including piling, pipeline installation, drainage, and water supply integration.
Future construction plans must undergo technical vetting from reputed institutions such as IIT or VJTI and receive final approval from the MMRDA. Additionally, there is a call for stricter regulatory checks and continuous monitoring.
