Real Estate Mumbai:The Kandivali police have booked four partners from Ravi Group, a well-known Mumbai real estate firm, for allegedly cheating a flat buyer out of Rs 68 lakh.

The accused, Jayesh Shah, Ketan Shah, Gaurav Shah, and Bhavya Shah, have been charged under Sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

According to the police, the complainant, Ashish Kumar Jha, a 43-year-old from Powai, had paid Rs 68.1 lakh to book a flat with the builders in 2012. However, the builders kept delaying the project and asked for more money, claiming they would adjust it in other projects.
