Upon discovering the fraud, the company conducted an internal audit, asked Rajendra Lodha to submit details of his assets and investments, and eventually filed a complaint with the Mumbai police.
Rajendra Lodha has been arrested and remanded in police custody. He is currently being questioned by the Mumbai crime branch regarding the allegations.
