Metro Line 4 will have 30 stations, extending 32.32 kilometres from Wadala to Kasarvadavali.
The new metro lines are expected to reduce travel time by 50-75%.
The trial phase includes load evaluations, signalling and traction checks, and emergency preparedness drills to ensure safety and reliability.
By providing a reliable and eco-friendly mode of transport, these lines will help reduce traffic congestion and carbon emissions, promoting a more sustainable urban environment.
