Data from the municipal rain gauges revealed that areas in Chembur, Worli, Dadar, and Parel bore the brunt of the downpour, with figures crossing the 100 mm mark at multiple locations.

Topping the chart was the Chembur Fire Station, which logged a staggering 140.80 mm, followed closely by Rainfall Pipeline BMC at 139.60 mm. Both readings underline the intensity of showers in central and eastern Mumbai.

The B. Nadkarni Park Municipal School in Wadala and the Worli Sea Face Municipal School were next in line, each recording 133.20 mm, while the Savitribai Phule Municipal School at Worli Naka reported 130.40 mm. Adding to Worli’s heavy tally, the Adarsh Nagar School also saw 128.80 mm.
