Mumbai: After two misidentifications, the main accused in the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been arrested from Thane. He has confessed to the crime, the Mumbai police said on Sunday.

The main suspect in the Saif Ali Khan attack was arrested from Thane and has confessed to the crime. He was using multiple names, including Vijay Das, Bijoy Das, and Mohammed Iliyas.
Saif Ali Khan was attacked in his Bandra apartment in the early hours of Thursday.
Saif Ali Khan sustained multiple stab wounds, including injuries to his thoracic spine.
Saif Ali Khan is currently receiving treatment at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. He has been moved from the ICU to a normal room after a successful surgery.
The Mumbai police are expected to provide more details in their upcoming briefing at the DCP zone IX office at 9 am. They are also continuing to monitor the condition of Saif Ali Khan and gather additional evidence to strengthen their case.
