Anil Deshmukh has now responded to Fadnavis' allegations, stating that it is true the report was submitted during the MVA regime, but the government was toppled before it could be made public. Deshmukh claimed that the report has been lying with the government for the last two years and that he had requested the Shinde government to reveal it several times.
Deshmukh alleged that former Mumbai Police commissioner Parambir Singh was involved in the Antilia bomb scare case and the killing of a Scorpio car owner, which was used in the crime. He claimed that Parambir Singh was the mastermind behind the case and that the NIA was about to arrest him, but he surrendered before Fadnavis.
According to Deshmukh, a deal was made between Parambir Singh and Fadnavis, under which Singh leveled allegations against him. He demanded that the government reveal what they found against him in the inquiry commission report.
