Real Estate Mumbai:Mumbai is set to groove to the biggest celebration of Bollywood music as the eighth edition of the Bollywood Music Project takes over Jio World Garden on October 4–5, 2025. Touted as Asia’s largest Bollywood music festival, the event will feature over 30 iconic and emerging artists delivering a nonstop, genre-spanning musical journey.

Day one will see Shankar Mahadevan, supported by Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, headline a three-hour performance of evergreen hits like 'Dil Chahta Hai' and 'Kal Ho Na Ho'. Farhan Akhtar and Shaan will revisit chartbusters including 'Senorita' and 'Gallan Goodiyaan', while percussion maestro Sivamani will thrill with a fusion of konnakol, tribal rhythms, and jazz. Rising talents Siddharth and Shivam Mahadevan will layer contemporary ghazals and devotional tracks over electronic beats.

Anu Malik will breathe new life into ’90s Bollywood classics such as 'Ek Garam Chai Ki Pyali Ho' and 'Uchi Hai Building', and Baba Sehgal will fire up the crowd with his signature Bollywood rap, including 'Thanda Thanda Pani'. Kunal Ganjawala, Avinash Gupta, Roohaniyat (Shaarib and Toshi), and Abhijeet Sawant will further enrich the evening with soulful and pop-rock performances.

The second day features composer duo Salim and Sulaiman Merchant delivering hits such as 'Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai' and 'Chak De India'. Tanishk Bagchi, with Zarah S Khan and Asees Kaur, will electrify the stage with reimagined dance anthems, while Usha Uthup adds jazz-disco flair. Bismil debuts a Sufi-rock fusion set, and Hargun Kaur will mesmerize with Punjabi Sufi-folk backed by tabla.

Other noteworthy performers include Kabir Singh, Abhay Jodhpurkar, Aflatunes, Rakesh Maini, Simran Choudhary, Farhad Bhiwandiwala, Rishabh Chaturvedi, Pawandeep Rajan, and Khushboo Grewal. Shankar Mahadevan shares, “Bollywood music has always been about emotion, melody, and bringing people together.
