The primary properties being auctioned include three flats in the Al Husseini building in Mahim, a 10,000 square meter land parcel in Kole Kalyan, Vakola, a flat in Bandra, two flats in Kapadia Nagar, Kurla, and four shops in Manish Market, South Mumbai.
The government is auctioning these properties as part of its efforts to recover assets linked to the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts and to combat terrorism financing.
The auction is expected to begin in December or January, following the completion of legal formalities and property valuations.
The Al Husseini building is significant because it was the site where the conspiracy for the 1993 bomb blasts was hatched, as mentioned in the CBI report.
The land parcel in Kole Kalyan, Vakola, is valued at approximately ₹400 crore.
