The key clients for these transmission projects are the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) and a private sector developer.
The main types of infrastructure being developed include a high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission line at 800 kV, a 765 kV gas-insulated substation (GIS), and a 400 kV quad transmission line.
KEC International contributes to India's energy transition by executing high-impact transmission projects that enhance grid reliability, support renewable energy integration, and align with national priorities for a sustainable and efficient energy ecosystem.
The projects typically follow a multi-phase execution, with material sourcing, civil work, and commissioning stretching over 18 to 36 months depending on terrain and regulatory clearances.
