The primary focus areas are the development of world-class infrastructure in the MMR and the construction of affordable housing units under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
The NBCC will undertake the construction of infrastructure projects and affordable housing units as part of the MoU.
The projects will improve infrastructure, reduce congestion, and provide affordable housing, thereby enhancing the quality of life for residents.
The first phase is expected to start within the next few months.
