The developer plans to start work on the project within the next two quarters. The project will include a mall spanning between six and seven lakh sq. ft., a small hotel on 80,000 to one lakh sq. ft. area, and the remaining space will be dedicated to office use.
In addition to this project, Oberoi Realty also plans to launch a project in Pokhran Road, Thane, as well as two towers in Borivali and Goregaon.
Interestingly, the Worli plot was sold by Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals to I-Ven Realty, a joint venture between ICICI Venture Funds Management Company and Oberoi Constructions, for over Rs 107 crore in 2013.
