Prestige Group Aims for Rs 36,000 Crore Pre-Sales Target in FY27

Prestige Group, a prominent name in the real estate sector, has set an ambitious pre-sales target of Rs 36,000 crore for the fiscal year 2026-27, marking a 20% growth from the previous year. The company's confidence is bolstered by the robust demand for residential properties and a strong launch pipeline across major cities.

In an interview, Irfan Razack, the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Prestige Estates Projects Ltd, expressed optimism about the housing market. Despite global uncertainties, he stated that the company is witnessing significant demand for its residential properties. Razack noted that while construction costs have increased due to the rise in prices of key raw materials following the West Asia conflict, the company's financial and operational performance remains strong.

The company's performance in the last fiscal year (2025-26) was exceptional, with sales bookings reaching Rs 30,024 crore, a 76% increase from the previous year. For the upcoming fiscal, Razack is confident of achieving a 15-20% growth, targeting Rs 35,000 to Rs 36,000 crore in pre-sales. This growth is supported by a robust launch pipeline of around Rs 60,000 crore across major cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), and Delhi-NCR.

Razack emphasized that the company's focus remains on meeting customer needs and investing in long-term assets. He stated, 'The customer is buying a real asset and investing for the long term and not short term. If they have a need, they will invest.' While the velocity of sales may vary, the overall demand remains steady, with April showing positive trends.

The company's strategy includes continued investment in construction activities and land acquisition, provided the right opportunities arise. Razack also highlighted the company's bullish stance on office, shopping mall, and hotel projects. Prestige Estates Projects has a track record of delivering high-quality projects and is committed to maintaining this standard.

Recently, Prestige Estates Projects reported a significant jump in net profit, which more than doubled to Rs 1,195.5 crore in the last fiscal year from Rs 467.5 crore in 2024-25. Total income also almost doubled to Rs 13,195.5 crore from Rs 7,735.5 crore. Razack commented, 'FY26 has been a landmark year for Prestige, marked by our highest-ever sales and collections alongside strong growth in revenue and profitability. These results reflect the strength of our brand, the trust of our customers, and our ability to execute consistently across markets and asset classes.'

Bengaluru-based Prestige Estates Projects Ltd is one of the leading real estate developers in the country. The group has delivered 313 projects spanning 206 million square feet and has a pipeline of 128 projects across 195 million square feet. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and market innovation, Prestige Group is well-positioned to achieve its ambitious targets in the coming fiscal year.
