Further investigation led the police to Sachin alias SK Rameshkumar Bishnoi (20), who had come to collect cash proceeds from the drug sales. He was apprehended in the Hadapsar-Mundhwa area with ₹4.65 lakh in cash and an Apple iPhone.
The trail then led to a local distributor, Amit Sunil Ghule (40), a real estate businessman residing in Vrindavan Colony, Manjari Budruk. “From Ghule, we recovered 398 grams of MD, a Toyota Fortuner SUV, and two mobile phones, with a combined seizure value of ₹1.02 crore,” the officials stated.
