Pune Property Registrations Hit Record High in Q3 2024
By GeoSquare News Desk · Published 2026-10-27

Pune's residential market recorded its highest-ever property registrations in the July-September quarter of 2024, according to market data. The surge was led by demand for ready-to-move-in apartments, as buyers continue to prefer completed projects over under-construction stock amid delivery concerns.
Ready homes and stable prices drive demand
Stable pricing across key micro-markets helped sustain absorption, with end-users — especially in the IT and automobile corridors — accounting for a large share of bookings. City areas and established suburbs saw strong uptake of two and three-BHK units in the ₹60 lakh to ₹1.5 crore range.
Infrastructure push to support momentum
Infrastructure upgrades, including phased Pune Metro corridors and ongoing road and flyover projects, are expected to lift connectivity and support housing demand along new transit routes. Peripheral areas near the airport and eastern corridors also remain on investors' watchlists.
Outlook for buyers and investors
Industry observers expect the registration trend to hold through the festive quarter, provided new supply keeps pace and rates stay broadly stable. Buyers should verify project approvals and track micro-market price trends before committing.
