Punjab Organizes Real Estate Certification Camp for Developers
Real Estate News:CHANDIGARH The Punjab Housing and Urban Development Department recently organized a unique camp to issue clearance certificates to 51 real estate developers. This initiative marks a significant step towards addressing the pending works in the real estate sector and enhancing transparency and efficiency in the process.

Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian and Chief Secretary KAP Sinha personally handed over various certificates, including colony licenses, completion certificates, partial completion certificates, letters of intent, zoning plans, building plans, promoter registration certificates, and layout plans to the developers.

Mundian emphasized the department's commitment to settling the pending works of developers on a priority basis. He announced that the next camp would be organized at the end of November. To ensure transparency, an email address, transparency.hud@gmail.com, has been created for developers to raise any complaints or concerns directly.

Housing Secretary Rahul Tewari highlighted that the camp would help resolve the stalled projects of promoters and developers in the state. During the event, certificates were issued by various authorities, and feedback was collected from the attendees. Special Secretary Apneet Riyat conducted the proceedings of the camp, while Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA) Chief Administrator Neeru Katia Gupta was also present.

Jagjit Singh Majha, President of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) Punjab, praised the initiative. He believes it will provide a much-needed boost to the real estate sector and contribute to the state's economy while promoting sustainable urban development. H S Kandhari from Mohali Greensville Infra LLP also lauded the move, describing it as a people-friendly measure.

The event underscores the Punjab government's commitment to fostering a supportive environment for real estate developers, ensuring the timely completion of projects, and addressing the needs of the industry.
