Revamped MahaRERA Portal to Enhance Homebuyer Experience, Goes Live on August 31
Real Estate Mumbai:Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) is all set to launch its revamped portal, Maha-CRITI, on August 31. The new portal promises to enhance the user experience, provide data analytics, and offer personalised dashboards for homebuyers, promoters, and agents.

The existing portal, which is over seven years old, was in need of a comprehensive overhaul to meet the increasing digital traffic. According to MahaRERA Chairman Ajoy Mehta, the daily visitors to the portal have increased from 5,000 to 34,000, with over 1,400 visitors per hour.

The revamped portal, Maha-CRITI, aims to provide a truly integrated system with a single source of truth, ensuring that data captured at one point is consistently used across the platform. The portal will offer personalised dashboards for all users, system-driven reminders, notifications, compliance reports, quarterly progress reports, and complaint management.

In addition to these features, the portal will also introduce mobile applications and AI-driven chatbots for real-time assistance. This will make Maha-CRITI a comprehensive and effective platform for all stakeholders.

During the transition process, MahaRERA's website will be down for promoters and agents from August 13 to August 31. Homebuyers will have to make manual applications between August 20 and August 31. However, online hearings of complaints will continue uninterrupted.

MahaRERA has urged all stakeholders to cooperate during this transition period. The authority has also assured that only completed applications submitted until August 13 will be processed by MahaRERA officials.

The revamped portal is expected to enhance the overall experience of homebuyers, promoters, and agents, and provide a more efficient and convenient way of accessing services.

The Authority has been working tirelessly to ensure that the transition to the new portal is smooth and seamless. With the launch of Maha-CRITI, MahaRERA is confident that it will be able to meet the rising demand and provide better services to all stakeholders.
