The inspection was carried out following an appeal filed by M/s Sweta Real Estate Private Limited regarding house numbers and permit issues. The Tiswadi Block Development Officer (BDO) directed the Se Old Goa Village Panchayat to conduct the inspection and submit a detailed report.
The inspection found two structures standing and a third one in ruins without compound walls. The panchayat secretary will submit a detailed report to the BDO.
The panchayat revoked house numbers because the builder had previously refused to allow inspections of the structures, leading to unresolved complaints from residents.
The Se Old Goa Village Panchayat is responsible for the administration and development of the village. It ensures that the community's needs and regulations are met and addresses concerns raised by residents.
After the inspection report is submitted to the Tiswadi Block Development Officer (BDO), further actions will be decided based on the findings and recommendations in the report. This may include further inspections, revocation of permits, or other regulatory measures.
