Shah Rukh Khan is expected to receive a 2,800 sq ft 4 BHK sea-facing apartment as part of the luxury redevelopment project in Bandra.
The redevelopment project is being managed by Sri Lotus Developers and Realty Limited, a real estate firm backed by the Khan family trust and prominent investors like Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan.
Construction of the new apartments is set to be completed in about three to four years once the site is vacated.
The developer is expected to sell apartments in the building for around Rs 1.50 lakh per sq ft.
Shah Rukh Khan's current home in the Shree Amrit Society is his first acquisition in Mumbai, purchased in the 1990s soon after his marriage to Gauri Khan, and holds significant sentimental value for the couple.
