According to property registration documents accessed by SquareYards, Sinha sold her apartment for Rs.
22.50 crore, a substantial increase from the Rs.
14 crore she paid for it in March 2020.

The apartment, located on the 16th floor of 81 Aureate in Bandra West, has a carpet area of 4,211 sq ft and a built-up area of 4,632 sq ft, along with three car parks.

81 Aureate, spread across 4.48 acres, is a prominent residential project known for its spacious 4 BHK apartments.
According to data from SquareYards, the project has seen eight transactions amounting to a gross transaction value of Rs.
76 crore between February 2024 and January 2025.
The average resale property price for a 4 BHK in the project stands at Rs.

8.5 lakh.

Sonakshi Sinha is the fourth Bollywood personality to sell her property in the last one month.
In January 2025, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, and Director Subhash Ghai all sold properties collectively valued at around Rs.
100 crore.
The surge in celebrity property sales in Mumbai has caught the attention of real estate analysts and has sparked discussions about the reasons behind this trend.

Bandra, known for its proximity to the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai's key commercial hub, remains a top residential choice for corporate executives and business owners.
The area benefits from excellent connectivity, with access to the Western Express Highway, the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, the international airport, and the upcoming metro, making it an ideal location for those seeking minimal commute times.

Other notable Bollywood stars and sports personalities who have acquired properties in this neighborhood include Suniel Shetty, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, KL Rahul, and Athiya Shetty.
In 2023, Sonakshi Sinha bought a sea-facing apartment on the 26th floor of the same Bandra high-rise for Rs.
11 crore, adding to her real estate portfolio.

Sonakshi Sinha, who made her debut in 2010 with the blockbuster film Dabangg opposite Salman Khan, has since established herself as a versatile actress.
Known for roles in films like Lootera, Akira, and Mission Mangal, she recently showcased her acting prowess in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama Heeramandi, where she played dual characters.
