Suhana Khan's Alibaug Real Estate Deal Worth Rs 12 Crore Lands Her in Legal Trouble
Real Estate Mumbai:Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan, has found herself in legal trouble surrounding a real estate deal. It has come to light that Suhana purchased a piece of land in Alibaug, Maharashtra, without procuring the necessary permissions and paperwork. The land, worth Rs 12.91 crore, was allegedly allotted to farmers by the government for farming purposes.

The land deal reportedly took place on May 30, 2023, when Suhana paid the Khote family, based in Cuffe Parade, an upmarket area of Mumbai, the substantial sum of Rs 12.91 crore. She also paid a stamp duty of Rs 77.46 lakh at the time of the purchase, which was facilitated through Standard Chartered Bank.

The land is located in the Thal village of Alibaug. The matter is currently under investigation, and an impartial report has been sought from the Alibaug tehsildar. The order for the investigation was reportedly issued by the Resident Deputy Commissioner of Police. This has raised concerns about the legality of the transaction and the implications for Suhana and the Khote family.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Suhana Khan is gearing up for her upcoming and much-anticipated film, King, which she is starring in alongside her father, Shah Rukh Khan. This marks her second film, following the streaming movie The Archies, which received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. King will be her debut on the big screen, as The Archies was an OTT-only release.

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan suffered an injury to his arm while filming an action sequence for King. The superstar had to leave the shooting of the film midway and was rushed to the hospital for a medical procedure. He underwent surgery and is expected to recover in a couple of months.

Shah Rukh Khan recently received his first National Award in 33 years of his career. Following the win, he appeared in public view after a few days and took to his Instagram to upload a video of himself wearing a sling. In the video, he expressed his gratitude to the government and his fans for their support during this time.

Suhana Khan's legal troubles highlight the complexities and potential pitfalls of real estate transactions, especially when involving government-allocated land. As the investigation continues, the outcome of this case could have significant implications for both Suhana and the broader real estate market in Alibaug.
