Suraj Estate Developers Reports 5.24% Net Profit Decline in Q4 FY25 Despite Strong Income Growth

Suraj Estate Developers Reports 5.24% Net Profit Decline in Q4 FY25 Despite Strong Income Growth
Real Estate Mumbai:NEW DELHI: Suraj Estate Developers has reported a 5.24% decline in its net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2025. The company's profit after tax stood at ₹18.28 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to ₹19.29 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, as per a BSE filing.

The company's net consolidated total income stood at ₹137.16 crore in Q4 FY25, marking a 33.13% growth from ₹103.03 crore recorded in the same quarter last year.

As of March 31, 2025, the net worth of Suraj Estate Developers was ₹902.70 crore. The net debt increased from ₹360 crore in December 2024 to ₹414 crore in March 2025.

Rahul Thomas, whole-time director of the company, commented, 'FY25 was a remarkable year for us. While the strategic reconfiguration and consolidation of selected land parcels led to some delays in project launches, these steps have significantly enhanced the efficiency and long-term value of our project layouts. We are optimistic that the deferred commercial project, along with a few residential projects delayed due to regulatory approvals, will be launched in H1FY26.'

During the year, the company raised ₹343 crore, which was fully utilized for acquiring commercial land, working capital, and paying for additional FSI. They recently acquired a 390 square meter land parcel at Shivaji Park for ₹4.75 crore, with plans to develop a luxury project with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of ₹80 crore.

Total income grew by 33.1% year-on-year, reaching ₹553.2 crore in FY25, up from ₹415.7 crore in FY24. Profit After Tax (PAT) increased by 48.5% year-on-year, from ₹67.5 crore in FY24 to ₹100.2 crore in FY25.

Pre-sales rose by 4% year-on-year, reaching ₹501 crore in FY25, compared to ₹483 crore in FY24. Collections increased from ₹316 crore in FY24 to ₹386 crore in FY25, a rise of 22% year-on-year. Price realization improved to ₹54,353 per sq ft in FY25, up from ₹45,074 per sq ft in FY24.

The company plans to launch residential and commercial projects with a gross development value (GDV) of approximately ₹2,000 crore in FY26.
