The victim was Keshav Chaudhary Jha, a 35-year-old man.
The body was found in a drain at the Suryakund Mahapurush society in Mazgaon, Byculla area of South Mumbai.
The suspects arrested were Girdhari Rai, 22, Mrityunjay Jha, 36, and another unnamed individual.
The murder was committed over a property dispute in Bihar.
The police set up various squads, used CCTV footage, and employed technical tools to track down the suspects and make the arrests.
