Earlier this year, Bachchan invested in land worth ₹10 crore in Alibaug and reportedly acquired another parcel in Ayodhya for ₹14.5 crore. His son, Abhishek Bachchan, has also made a significant real estate purchase, acquiring six apartments in the Oberoi Sky City project in Borivali. As per registration documents obtained by Zapkey.com, Abhishek Bachchan purchased the property for ₹15.42 crore. The apartments, situated on the 57th floor of the high-rise, total 4,894 square feet in area and include 10 car parking spaces. The transaction was finalized on May 28, 2024.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is preparing for the release of his highly anticipated film, Kalki 2898 AD, which also features Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is set to hit theaters on June 27.
