The total capacity of the solar projects awarded to Carbon Minus under MSKVY 2.0 is 904 MW.
The two solar projects are located in the Solapur district (500 MW) and the Nanded district (404 MW) of Maharashtra.
MSKVY 2.0 is a flagship initiative of the Maharashtra State Government aimed at promoting the adoption of solar energy among farmers by providing financial and technical support for setting up solar power plants and solar-powered irrigation systems.
The projects are expected to create over 5,000 jobs during the construction phase, provide a reliable and sustainable source of energy, reduce dependency on fossil fuels, and contribute to the economic development of the region.
