Luxury Living in Mumbai: Bollywood Actors Invest in High-End Apartments
Real Estate News:The Mumbai real estate market has been thriving, thanks to the growing demand for luxury apartments. Bollywood actors are no exception, with many investing in high-end properties in the city. One such example is Ronit Roy, who has purchased a luxurious apartment in Versova, Mumbai, for a whopping ₹18.94 crore.

The 4,258 sq ft apartment, located in the Lodha Versova project by Macrotech Developers, comes with four car parking spaces. The transaction was registered on June 10, 2024, with a stamp duty of ₹1.13 crore and registration fees of ₹30,000 paid.

Ronit Roy is not the only Bollywood actor to invest in luxury apartments in Mumbai. Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Kapoor recently purchased a sea-view apartment worth around ₹60 crore in Oberoi 360 West project in Worli area of Mumbai. In January 2024, actor Mrunal Thakur and her father Udaysingh Bhatesingh Thakur bought two apartments worth ₹10 crore in Oberoi Springs in Andheri West.

Amitabh Bachchan, too, has been actively investing in real estate in Mumbai. In June 2024, he purchased two apartments worth ₹6.78 crore in Oberoi Sky City project by Oberoi Realty in Borivali area of Mumbai. His son Abhishek Bachchan had earlier bought six apartments for ₹15.42 crore on the same floor.

The Bollywood actors' love for luxury apartments in Mumbai is not surprising, given the city's reputation as a hub for the film industry. Many actors, including Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor, already own homes in areas like Bandra, Khar, and Juhu.

The real estate market in Mumbai is expected to continue growing, driven by the demand for luxury apartments and the city's reputation as a financial hub.
