Pune's Most Searched Neighborhoods for Homebuyers Revealed
Real Estate Pune:Pune's residential market has seen a significant increase in property prices in recent times. According to Magicbricks' latest property evaluation tool, PropWorth, Undri is one of the most affordable neighborhoods in Pune, with average property rates of INR 5,351 psf, having increased by 9.5 per cent in the last year. Average property rates in Hinjewadi increased by 12.9 per cent in the past year to reach INR 6,285 psf, still making it one of the most affordable neighborhoods in the city.\n\nBaner, with average property rates of INR 7,224 psf, continues to be one of the most searched areas of Pune on the Magicbricks portal. According to PropWorth, some of the luxury neighborhoods of the city in high demand are Kharadi, with average property prices of INR 10,334 psf, and Baner Balewadi Road, where prices have increased by 37.8 per cent in the past year, reaching INR 11,173 psf.\n\nEarlier this month, Magicbricks released its PropIndex report, which highlighted that between April-June 2024, property prices in Pune increased by 2.1 per cent QoQ, to INR 8,085 psf from INR 7,919 psf in the previous quarter. Furthermore, the average price of ready-to-move apartments has increased marginally from INR 7,970 in the previous quarter to INR 7,996 psf between April and June 2024. However, the report observed that the prices of under-construction apartments increased by 26.3 per cent QoQ, from INR 7,887 psf to INR 8,226 psf.
