Shreya Ghoshal Invests Heavily in Mumbai’s Luxury Real Estate: Another Rs 30 Crore Apartment in Worli
Shreya Ghoshal continues to invest in Mumbai’s booming luxury real estate market, with Worli emerging as a top choice for high-profile buyers. Over the years, Worli has transformed into one of the city’s most sought-after residential hubs. Its sea-facing high-rises, premium amenities, and seamless connectivity through the Bandra-Worli Sea Link have made it a magnet for celebrities, cricketers, and high-net-worth individuals looking for exclusivity and convenience in one address.
Adding to this growing trend, Shreya Ghoshal, along with her parents Sarmistha Ghoshal and Biswajit Ghoshal, has purchased another luxury apartment in Worli for Rs 30 crore. According to property registration documents accessed via CRE Matrix, this marks their second acquisition in the same building. Earlier, the family had bought a 2,750.3 sq ft apartment for Rs 29.7 crore.
The newly purchased apartment sits in Godrej Trilogy, a sea-facing luxury residential development in Worli. It spans 2,777.84 sq ft and includes three dedicated car parking spaces. The deal, registered on April 1, 2026, involved a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.8 crore along with Rs 30,000 in registration charges. The Agreement for Sale lists Embellish Houses Private Limited and Akshay Sthapatya Private Limited as sellers, with Sarmistha Ghoshal, Biswajit Ghoshal, and Shreya Ghoshal as buyers.
Worli: A Hotspot For Celebrity Investments
However, Shreya Ghoshal is not the only celebrity investing in Worli. The area continues to attract some of the biggest names in the entertainment and sports industries. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput purchased a luxurious duplex in Three Sixty West for around Rs 55.9 crore, offering sweeping views of the sea link. Similarly, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma own a home in Omkar 1973, while Abhishek Bachchan and Akshay Kumar have also invested in apartments at Three Sixty West. In addition, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza own a sea-facing home in the area, known for its design and panoramic views.
With Shreya Ghoshal’s latest purchase, her total investment in Godrej Trilogy now crosses Rs 59 crore, further reinforcing the area’s appeal. Worli continues to cement its position as Mumbai’s luxury real estate hotspot. With its skyline of modern skyscrapers, premium lifestyle offerings, and unmatched connectivity, the locality has become a preferred address for the elite. In fact, many now view it as a ‘mini-exodus’ hub for Bollywood, as more celebrities shift base to this upscale neighbourhood.
